Short introduction about the resources
The Sustainable Culture Toolkit is designed to support theatres, festivals and other cultural organisations in integrating environmental and social sustainability into their practices.
The Toolkit combines practical guidance, structured learning materials and an organisational self-assessment tool. The resources can be used independently, as part of staff training or collectively by teams seeking to identify priorities and develop sustainability actions.

The Educational Course “Sustainable Performance” consists of four modules:
- Introduction to Sustainability
- Governance and Leadership
- Operations and Technical Practice
- Communication, Participation and Engagement
Each language package contains the complete Course and guidelines on how to edit, adapt or translate the materials for use according to the organisation’s own needs.

Ready to Act is designed to support a structured review of how sustainability is addressed through management, internal coordination and day-to-day organisational practices.
Each file contains the self-assessment tool and its accompanying materials in the selected language.
